Medical Research Network
• Managing Home Trial Support (HTS) visits on both small and large clinical trial portfolios by coordinating with internal cross-functional teams as well as external vendors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure deliverables are completed on time
• Maintaining financial oversight with routine invoicing, reconciliation, and forecasting to ensure projects are executed within agreed upon budget and scope
• Executing change orders by ensuring internal quality processes are following and communicating with external clients and vendors to incorporate protocol amendments and contract updates
• Responsible for ensuring compliance through project delivery in accordance with international laws and guidelines by timely issue management, escalation, and communication per process and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Supported the Project Management team by creating, reviewing, and maintaining study documents across multiple portfolios to ensure all documentation was compliant and up to date
• Collaborated with Quality Management team by entering issues into Sales Force to identify and record trends in the company for compliance purposes

Global Women’s Health Coordinator (04/2019 to 06/2020)

• Responsible for several research projects by navigating Institutional Review Board and regulatory processes to confirm research compliance, both locally with community partnerships and globally with institutions in Ethiopia & Uganda
• Construct a database by manually extracting selected variables from nearly 3,000 electronic health records in Cerner and entering data into REDCap to further analyze the relationship between structural violence indicators and Human Papillomavirus prevalence rates in minority populations in Chicago
• Facilitate internal collaborations by orchestrating team hiring of undergraduate and medical students as well as organizing data entry scheduling around class and work schedules to ensure deadline for database construction are met
• Contribute in strategic planning by developing, drafting, implementing, and monitoring program activities, such as grant applications and presentations, in order to execute all program initiatives and further the mission of the program
• Coordinate travel by facilitating arrangements, itineraries, and meetings for guests, students, and faculty members
• Maintain financial records by reconciling P-card and T-card transactions to keep up-to-date budget reports

• Executed the use of Slack as a collaborative tool by building the workspace from scratch and teaching the team Slack user functions in order to optimize the design of a transdisciplinary team
• Arranged communication by establishing channels on subtopics, such as literature reviews and data analysis assignments, to guarantee quality work was being produced by each member of the team
• Directed team members by sending out meeting minutes and delegating assignments following each meeting to solidify allotted deliverables and ensure understanding among all parties

• Led the reporting on social determinants of health as industry standards of success in the medical field by utilizing background knowledge and writing abilities to edit internal language and strengthen program effectiveness
• Collected mailer survey data by entering responses into Microsoft Excel to be used in informing strategic AMAF initiatives
• Demonstrated initiative in working on edits for a draft of the LGBTQ Fellowship Proposal by condensing large amounts of information from multiple sources, including the AMA’s Code of Medical Ethics, to ensure my edits were well-informed

• Designed an evaluation survey by utilizing peer feedback and employing methodological knowledge to provide the Community-QUIT program with the best tools to evaluate their program’s effectiveness
• Strategized market campaigns to inform the targeted community of the program by reviewing peer feedback related to prepare effective and appropriate program outreach materials
• Formulated a proposal by assessing loss of data from intake forms to advocate for gender-inclusive demographic question

• Aided in policy deliberations by presenting consolidated research findings to inform CEJA members on varied ethical topics
• Devised a framework for a CME module by classifying raw data into a logically-flowing outline to educate physicians

• Produced a proposal by presenting background research to assess link between pharmaceutical advertising and patient care

• Interviewed a subject with illness by inquiring about their experiences to formulate narrative regarding illness in the West
• Composed literature review by compiling peer-reviewed articles about the medical profession to expand a notion of illness
